Wine was good, wish they were explained more or we knew why they were placed in the order they were. Our server was very sweet! All staff was so sweet and accommodating especially the host was the bowtie. The location of the wine store is very nice and convenient especially if you live in town. There is a large selection.
We went to Jake and Cooper's for a quick happy hour hang out. We got different HH wines and beers, as well as the focaccia. The house wines were pretty good, and they had a decent beer selection for happy hour too. The focaccia (and ricotta) were INCREDIBLE! That was definitely the highlight of the visit! Service was great, and we loved sitting right by the open window. Definitely will come back and try more!
I went here with my mother-in-law for afternoon drinking after a little shopping on Main St. The server was lovely, the wine was reasonably priced, and we had a sushi tuna side dish. We sat right in the window and had a grand time. I suspect we may have imbibed a bit too much :) The other patrons were fun characters as you would expect in Manayunk.
"Jack's & Cooper's wine bar" is the best restaurant in Manayunk! Guys you should definitely come and check this out. Food is delicious, ambience is pleasant, drinks are surprisingly amazing. The experience was above and beyond! Server Edward gave the most exceptional experience! I really want to be back to this place because of the customer experience as well as food and drinks. I've been here many times, it's a very nice looking place with a great bar, and the food is always good! I don't know what is in their maple butter for their bread but it is TO DIE for! I tried out a class at the wine school and it was so fun! Only $15 bucks to try multiple wines and you can still order food? - Amazing!! The staff really know what they're talking about and it makes for a super fun evening.
I continue to enjoy my visits to Jake's! Happy Hour continues to deliver...house wine...cocktails and great appetizers! The service and ambiance always delivers and the food remains consistent! I will continue to say..one of the best Happy Hours on Main Street in Manayunk!
When it comes to pizza you can't beat a good ole fashion brick oven. All my friends in Manyunk are always talking about Jake & Coopers happy hour so I finally had to try. Was not disappointed. Snagged one of the booths and had a direct line of sight to the warm flame of the oven. How could I not order one of the pizzas? After a couple minutes of indecisiveness and help from the wait staff, I went with the Short Rib pizza. Amazing, delicious, and any other adjectives that would describe just good food. I'll have to come back to try some of the other pizzas. I've got my eye on the Spicy Meatball. I see why people come to this Main Street staple. I might become their next regular. PS: everyone that works is super nice and fun to talk to.
